The Elk Grove Girls Softball League Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the administration and general operations of the organization. The Board consists of elected officers/positions as outlines in the League Bylaws. For detailed job descriptions of Board positions, please review them here. Board positions are held for two-year terms and are open for election annually, as specified in the League Bylaws.
Any interested individual may apply for a appointment to the Board. Each Board member is entitled to one vote on all matters brought before the Board. Board members are expected to attend all monthly meetings and actively participate in managing the League. Additionally, Board members are required to fulfill at least two game shifts (number of shifts varies dependent on number of active Board members) spring and fall seasons.
